Abraham Cherrix is given a court reprieve

Here is the story of today's court action in the Cherrix case. Abraham will not have to start chemo today, and they will be back in court in Mid-August. The county also has lost joint custody of Abraham.

Sounds like a good day in court. The battle isn't over, but the chemo has been avoided for now.

I haven't been by in a while. I am finding a million and one ways to avoid my yardwork today, so am catching up on a few blogs.

Thank you for writing about this story. I avoid the news, so believe it or not- I didn't know about this story.

I'm a big advocate for choices such as this, but I also have children (albeit all grown up). Wow- this had to be a really tough decision for his parents and I can't imagine what I'd do if I were in their shoes.

My thoughts will be with that family.
